Meet the Doctors


Dr. Oueis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He received his dental degree from University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry, and he received an additional two years of specialized post-graduate training in Pediatric Dentistry at Children's Hospital of Michigan. He went on to perform clinical studies on growth and development in children at Tokyo University in Japan, earning his PhD in Pediatric Dentistry.

In addition Dr. Oueis completed a prestigious 2-year advanced fellowship program in Pediatric Dentistry at the Ohio State University.

Dr. Oueis has been the Director of the graduate program of Pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, where he helped training and educating dozens of pediatric dentists for the last 8 years. Prior to that Dr. Oueis taught for 5 years at University of Detroit Mercy. He is also active in research and has published numerous research articles in national and international dental journals.

Dr. Oueis established Children’s Dental Care, as the premier pediatric practice of Canton and Dearborn. Children’s Dental Care is a state of the art dental office designed with children's comfort in mind. Our bright, cheerful surroundings help children feel at ease.

Dr. Oueis enjoys spending time with his wife, and his three kids. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, soccer and reading.

Merrill Perlow, D.D.S.

Since completing her post-doctorate residency in Ann Arbor, Dr. Merrill has had the pleasure of helping children and families in the Detroit and Chicago areas improve their oral health. A native of central Ohio, she's a graduate of The Ohio State University and the University of Michigan.

While she'll occasionally cheer for the Wolverines, she'll always be Buckeye at heart. When she's not wearing scrubs, Dr. Merrill enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter and their four-legged child, a Bernadoodle named Mitten.

Abbie Walker, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Walker is originally from West Michigan and received her dental degree from The University of Michigan. After dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency program at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She returned to The University of Michigan to complete her residency in Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Walker continues to be active in the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic at U of M, regularly teaching dental students and residents. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and their three young children. Outside the office she enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Rehab Alabduljabbar, D.D.S.

Dr. Rehab Alabduljabbar is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist whose focus is to provide comprehensive treatment in a way that is compassionate and understanding to each individuals family situation. Dr. Rehab received her dental degree from the University of Jordan. She then moved to the US with her husband to pursue post graduate education. Shortly after moving to the US, she completed her Doctorates degree in Dental Public Health from Boston University. She then completed a post-graduate program in the specialty of pediatric dentistry from Nova Southeastern University.

After graduation, she worked at St. Bernards Hospital in Chicago. She then moved to Michigan to work as a full-time assistant professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where she taught for almost 4 years. She then wanted to pursue her passion in serving the pediatric special needs population in Detroit which lead her to join Childrens Dental Center where she worked as the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Clinic Director.

Dr. Rehab lives in Novi with her husband, her 3 year old daughter Talia, and their cat Filfil. They enjoy spending time outdoors and enjoy traveling around Michigan. We are pleased that Dr. Rehab has decided to join our team as a full-time pediatric dentist. Dr. Rehab is certified in PALS and maintains professional affiliations with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Michigan Dental Association.

June Chu-Chun Hsia, D.D.S.

Dr. June Chu-Chun Hsiao was born and grew up in Taiwan. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in Taiwan in 2003 and is also a Diplomate of the Taiwanese Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 2008. She moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2007 and finished the Pediatric Dentistry specialty training at the University of Michigan in 2017. Upon graduation, she joined the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Hsiao is a board certified pediatric dentist and is involved in teaching in both the predoctoral and graduate Pediatric Dental Clinics. She expertizes in behavior management for pediatric patients and also providing care for children with special health care needs. Apart from clinical care, her research interest has been investigating new materials for pulp therapy. Dr. Hsiao volunteers for dental missions internationally and is also fluent in Mandarin.

She currently lives in Ann Arbor with her 8-year old daughter and husband. She likes to spend time with the family, travel, and play piano.
